Other settings To select the other settings for messages, press Menu, and select Messages, Message settings, Other settings. To change the font size for reading and writing messages, select Font size. Message counter To view how many text, and multimedia messages you have sent and received, press Menu, and select Messages, Message counter, and Sent messages or Received messages. To clear the counters, select Clear counters. Contacts You can save names and phone numbers (Contacts) in the phone memory or in the SIM card memory. The phone supports presence enhanced contact (network service) containing My presence and Subscribed names. In the Subscribed names menu you can create a list of contacts whose presence status you would like to see and use this list to quickly view their availability status. Searching for a contact Press Menu, and select Contacts and Search, or press the scroll key down in standby mode. If the contact is saved in the SIM card' memory, is shown on the top of the display. Press Details, and scroll to view the details of the selected contact. The subscribed names are shown differently, depending on the Contacts view selection. See Settings for contacts on page 84. Key in the name, and press OK. Saving multiple numbers or text items per name You can save different types of phone numbers and short text items for a contact in the phone memory for contacts. When you select a name from contacts, for example, to make a call, the default number is used unless you select another number. To access the list of names and phone numbers, press the scroll key down in standby mode. Scroll to the name to which you want to add a new number or text item. If you are connected to the presence service and select the text type User ID, select Search to search for an ID by a mobile phone number or an e-mail address on the server of the operator or service provider. To change the number or text type, press Options, and select Change type . You cannot change the type of an ID when it is in the IM contacts or Subscribed names list.
